9. PM Ujjwal Yojana
Until 2014 millions of people in India were still not having proper LPG Gas connection, Narendra Modi lead government took an initiative to provide LPG gas connection to poor people with subsidy.
2.55 Crores LPG gas connections issued from 2016 to 2024
44% of which were given to families belonging to scheduled castes and scheduled tribes.
This was not as easy as we think, Government has taken all possible steps to achieve the milestone of this scheme. Some interesting facts are as follows here
To increase the number of beneficiaries under the Ujjwala scheme, by renovating the structure, it is easy to bring the last mile beneficiaries under the scheme, so the government also tried to renovate the structures. Direct and indirect employments were also increased through it
